One of the stars of this comeback? The California Coast Range Roach (Hesperoleucus symmetricus). This little native fish might be small, but it plays a big role feeding larger wildlife, surviving in seasonal pools, and keeping streams healthy.

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do at We Save The World restoring waterways, protecting wetlands, and giving nature the chance to heal itself.

Every fish we see is a sign of resilience, recovery, and hope proof that when we care for the planet, it responds. Keep organizing and participating in creek clean-ups
